General quantity surveying services such as measurements and bills of quantities (BOQ) compilation, procurement, TEAR processes, monthly payment certificates, variation control, cost reporting, final accounts and general contract administration.
Project Description:
In 2009 the ARM and Assore Board of Directors approved additional capital expenditure for the completion of the Khumani Expansion Project, to increase the Khumani Iron Ore Mine’s capacity from 10 mtpa to 16 mtpa. This project entailed the expansion of the infrastructure including but not limited to new conveyors, new primary, secondary and tertiary crushers, as well as expansion and tie-in works to the existing plants on of the above project. It further entailed upgrades to the existing rail infrastructure as well as a new rail balloon.
